Who are the ‘Mass Market’ cruise lines?
These are the cruise lines you know of because you can see their advertising everywhere. While they may not quite be household names they usually are easily recognized and identified. They are large companies and have large ships, usually with newer, larger ships in production! These lines offer ships that can hold up to 6000 people!. They have more ships in more ports, and more itineraries to offer clients. While cabin sizes will vary a bit based on the line and type of ships. They usually offer inside staterooms, oceanview, balcony, junior suites, and full suites for passengers.
These lines aren’t called floating resorts because of size alone. There aren’t too many mainland activities that haven’t been added to these ships. Old-school cruise
activities are still served up to guests on the daily. Bingo, a plethora of classes and seminars, limbo contests and more, are still available. Newer activities are mixed in with these cruise classics. Ice skating rinks, simulated sky diving, movie theaters, minigolf, Vegas style shows are just the start of the unique, over-the-top offerings the mass market cruise lines provide guests.
